My baby is growing so quickly. Can I just buy a bigger size Swaddle Up™ & let him grow into it?Updated 8 months ago

For the best fit, we recommend you choose a size based on your baby's weight, not their age. This Swaddle Up˜ is designed to be a snug fit around the arms, chest and waist. This provides a swaddling effect to help calm your baby’s startle reflex when they're sleepy. The patented arms up design allows babies to bring their hands to their face to rub their cheeks or suck on their fingers – this is called self-soothing. As tempting as it may be to buy a size up, it's important that you choose a size based on your baby's current weight. If the Swaddle Up™ is too big for your baby, the neckline may be too loose and could potentially cover their face. A loose Swaddle Up™ could also compromise the swaddling effect.  

To check if your Swaddle Up™ is the right size, make sure there is enough space for two fingers between the garment and your baby’s neck. It is OK if your baby can touch the bottom of the bag - this helps him feel the swaddling effect. If the fit is nice and snug across the body, then you have the correct size.
